Future Communities Animation

Co-op Foundation x Beat Freaks- 2022

Working with Birmingham based agency Beat Freaks, we were commissioned to create illustrations for Co-op Foundation’s 'Future Communities Vision' as part of their new strategy. The project was broken down by creating a master illustration that depicts a community of 10 years’ time that is fair and built on co-operative values. The illustration included six key themes, such as prosperity and sustainability, that were extracted from the co-operative values, interpreted by young people.

We then worked with animation studio Morever, who turned our illustrations into an animation to explain the ‘Future Communities Vision’ in more depth. You can watch the animation here, as well as a behind the scenes of how we created the illustrations here.

“Working with Lauren and Liv at Pickle was a delight! They pitched brilliantly for the job and then listened to and acted on our feedback at pace. They were fantastic at liaising with partner agencies and we’re so happy with the results. Would highly recommend”
