‘Look Up’ National Trust Children Country House Mural

To highlight the bedroom installations on the CEILING at Sudbury Hall, we designed and painted a way-finding mural encouraging visitors to take a moment to ‘look up’ and explore the exhibit.

Key Objectives

  • Wayfinding- Direct the attention of visitors to the museum at the overhead exhibit

  • Brand- The colours used in the mural should fit the Sudbury brand and feel like an extension of the branding.

  • Bold- The Client wanted the design to be eye-catching to visitors.

Some initial sketches from the project

“We have really enjoyed working with Pickle Illustration as part of the development of the museum at the Children’s Country House at Sudbury.

Lauren and Liv were super friendly and easy to work with, and the whole team agrees that their bold design has made a real impact in the space. We can’t wait to see what visitors think of it when we open!”
